　　据佚名报纸报道，2007年5月23日下午2时，一名不速“刀客”出现在春熙路上，只见他突然拔出尖利的水果刀一阵乱舞，吓得行人们尖叫失声。闻讯赶来的保安、巡警用“人墙”将“刀客”逼在一商铺门口。由于“刀客”警惕性相当高，“自我保护”意识相当强，民警多次想伺机抓捕均未能得逞。双方僵持近两个小时，最后一名身穿防弹背心的民警飞身上前，一把擒住“刀客”右手，其他民警一拥而上将其抓获，带回春熙路派出所。
